The internet is freaking out wed even venture to say that Williams baby-bump reveal is somewhat reminiscent of Beyoncs viral pregnancy announcements. But in this case, fans are especially psyched in part because theyve realized this means Williams was expecting (though she may nothave known it at the time) when when she beat her older sister Venus and won the Australian Open on Jan. 28. The photo that Williams posted showed her in a mirror and had the words 20 weeks written over the image. The New York Timesreports that Williamshas confirmed the pregnancyeven though the photo wasremoved from the stars Snapchat story. Williams, 35, has not played in any tournaments since the Australian Open. Last month, citing a knee injury, she withdrew from events in both California and Florida. According to the Times, the tennis pro -- whos engaged to Reddit c o-founder Alexis Ohanian -- is the highest-paid female athlete in the world. The Times adds that other female tennis stars -- including Victoria Azarenka and Kim Clijsters -- have taken time off from the sport to have children. Azarenka, 27, had a son in December and is expected to be back on the tour in July. Kim Clijsters retired at 23 in 2007 and returned two years later, after the birth of her daughter, to win three Grand Slam singles titles, according to the Times.
